PE ratio ka koi ek fixed “best” number nahi hota. Ye company ke sector, growth aur overall business quality par depend karta hai.

Generally:

  • 10–15: relatively low PE, lekin growth ya business risk bhi check karna chahiye.
  • 15–25: kai established companies ke liye reasonable range ho sakti hai.
  • 25–40: market company se higher growth ki expectation kar raha ho sakta hai.
  • 40+ : valuation kaafi high ho sakti hai, isliye growth aur earnings ko closely dekhna zaroori hai.

Sabse important baat ye hai ki PE ko same sector ki doosri companies aur company ke historical PE ke saath compare karein. Sirf low PE dekhkar stock ko cheap aur high PE dekhkar expensive maan lena sahi nahi hai.

Example: Agar ek company ka PE 30 hai aur usi sector ki similar companies ka PE 15–20 hai, to 30 PE relatively expensive ho sakta hai. Lekin agar company ki earnings growth bahut strong hai, to higher PE justify bhi ho sakta hai.
