Nobody has a crystal ball, but if you look at institutional price targets and macro models, consensus ranges anywhere from $250,000 to $1,200,000+ per BTC by 2030.
Here is a breakdown of what major institutions and analysts are currently projecting:
-
ARK Invest (Cathie Wood): Their models put the 2030 Bear Case at $300,000, Base Case at $710,000, and Bull Case at $1,200,000. The bull thesis relies heavily on nation-states building strategic Bitcoin reserves and widespread corporate balance sheet adoption.
-
Standard Chartered: Maintains a base target of $500,000 by 2030, driven by spot ETF inflows and expanding institutional treasury allocations.
-
Coinbase (Brian Armstrong): Has cited a baseline expectation around $400,000, assuming steady global adoption curves.
-
Conservative Compound Growth (~25% CAGR): If BTC continues a steady, non-hyperbolic trajectory through the next halving cycles, it puts the price around $250,000.
Main drivers between now and 2030 will be the aftermath of the 2028 halving, institutional ETF flow depth, and how governments approach strategic asset reserves.

Honestly, just dynamic DCA and don't overthink the specific number. Whether it hits $300k or $1M, supply halving economics and institutional scarcity aren't changing. NFA, but time in the market > timing the market.

Keep in mind these target models assume infinite liquidity and zero black swan regulatory events. If stablecoins continue eating away at transaction dominance or if global macro stays tight, lower bound targets ($200k-$300k) are much more realistic
